Matt Dircksen
Hydraulic Engineer
Mr. Matt Dircksen is a lead hydraulic engineer with the Corps of Engineers New Orleans District. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Ohio Northern University and joined the Corps of Engineers in 2009. Matt has completed Tulane’s River-Coastal Science and Engineering certificate program. Mr. Dircksen has been a registered Professional Engineer in Louisiana since 2014. In addition to New Orleans, his career has taken him to the Corps’ Chicago District and its Brazil office, where he supported inland navigation projects as a subject matter expert in hydraulic modeling.
